WE ARE THRILLED TO CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
On Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 the convention’s academic centerpiece—its continuing medical education (CME) program—will provide a unique morning of learning, discussion, networking, and credit hours conferred again this year by the University of Illinois at Chicago.
The academic theme for our 2017 meeting will be:
“Best Healthcare in the Era of Changing Trends"
The deadline date to receive abstracts is April 30th, 2017
IMSA invites all health science professionals to submit abstracts of 250 words or less for this program. Our CME committee includes talented and dedicated volunteers; we will review and evaluate command all submissions to consider them for presentation. The best abstracts will be those resonating with the broadest audience and advancing this year’s program theme and topics of interest to our diverse general audience.

As we all settle down into the New Year, the Board of Directors of IMSA wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2017.
Since this year, and in the coming couple of years, the month of Ramadan will be in May. Thus, the traditional IMSA annual conference will be moved to the first weekend in September (Labor Day Weekend).
It is scheduled to be held on September 1st - 4th, 2017 in Newport Beach, California. The location and weather should promise to be a nice get together occasion.
We invite medical sciences professionals of all specialties to attend this conference and take this opportunity to re-unite with their friends and classmates.
We also welcome their participation in the scientific sessions and share their medical knowledge with all. Those who wish to submit papers for presentation should start the process now as it takes some time to prepare and approve the scientific program.
Abstracts should be sent to email@example.com.
As during last year's conference when 18 physicians from Iraq attended, we look forward to have the same and hopefully better attendance this year. Those joining from Iraq or elsewhere outside of the United States will enjoy reduced registration fees mainly covering the social activities.
We encourage you all to visit our website at www.imsausa.org for further announcements.
If you require a visitor's visa you should register early to receive a confirmation of registration letter to be used for the visa application. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months, your application is candid and accurate to avoid any delays. Once you are registered, a supporting letter to the US Consulate will also be provided to assist in the Visa processing.
We encourage everyone to apply to renew their membership for the year of 2017. No dues are required from applicants from Iraq. Nominal membership fees are required from others outside the USA.
The membership renewal website is opened now and registration for the convention will be opened as soon as we finalize the program.
For any further questions you can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

Hope to see you this coming fall in California.
